Life as a couple: the woman is the queen of the family and the man is the head of the family

The men of this earth think that living as a couple is an easy thing. Similarly, they delude themselves by believing in the ease and romanticism of creating a home. Worse, they believe that committing to a life as a couple should be done on the impulse of some kind of trend. No, the question is much more serious and profound than that, because it is a lifelong commitment, a commitment that should help both man and woman find together the path to Paradise, in unwavering harmony and complicity.

To accept living as a couple means to mutually commit, out of love, to help one's soulmate - the one loved from the bottom of one's heart - through thick and thin, to perfect themselves, polish themselves, break free from their faults, vices, and bad behaviors during their earthly stay. This also applies to the children that the couple will agree to welcome later.

I had already told you in these terms: "man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh"[1]. The lesson to be learned from this message is consideration and mutual respect. In simplified terms, this means that when a man sees his wife, he must see himself in her; and it must be the same for the woman. Unfortunately, this is not the case today: one always sees evil, fault in the other.

According to Me God, accepting to live together as a couple is a precious commitment of high spiritual value that applies to the entire life on earth. The man who finds his soulmate on earth, then decides to live with her, must say to himself: "we will live together to help each other, agree with each other, respect each other, love each other, follow God's will. Then, we will have children, support each other in difficult times, have the same visions, understand each other, trust each other and be confident in faith."

Alas, the people of the earth hardly care about this. For them, living together means having children, doing what the man or woman asks of their partner even if the latter doesn't want to. For them, living together means not being understanding, not supporting each other, hiding from one another, always living in disputes, in the futilities of this world...

Where do you put Me in your home? Have you forgotten that it is I, God, who arranges marriages before your arrival on earth? A spiritual couple must discern things as I ask. They must live constantly in fear of Me, aware that I see each of them at all times and in all places. Also, the couple's life must be guided by and modeled after my Will, my Holy Laws, and my Ten Commandments.

I tell you in Truth that the man is the head of the home and the woman is the queen of the home. That is why I tell you that the home must be my sanctuary. Man and woman must live in perfect harmony so that my rays shine in their home. However, if for any reason, love were to disappear definitively in a couple, without any possibility of repair, it is better to separate from each other, that is to say, to go to divorce because a couple who lives in hypocrisy, with one who does not want to feel the other, will live in a house having lost its value as a sanctuary.

The woman must be submissive to her man. In return, the man must be attentive and take great care of his wife. This does not exclude that there will be ups and downs in a couple's life. Misunderstandings can occur in a couple, but one must avoid staying angry for long periods, so as not to open the door to the devil who will come to settle in your home.

You have to remember that you don't get married for looks, form, glitz or blinding love at first sight. We get married with the full awareness and ability to help each other correct our faults and love each other for a lifetime, despite our weaknesses.

Put Me at the centre of your relationship so that I can guide you and show you the right path to follow. Understand the concept of marriage, because marriage is a sacred bond that you don't play with. You have to understand this before you commit yourself, because you don't rush into marriage because divorce exists. The truth is, you have to get married to live together for the rest of your time on earth. Woe betide the man or woman who causes disharmony and separation in a couple. It could be the woman or the man, their children, close or distant relatives, mutual friends or any other person. This person will have to answer for the consequences of not respecting my Sixth Commandment ‘Thou shalt not commit adultery’, that is, thou shalt not be the cause of the separation of two soul-mates united by the bond of a marriage concluded in heaven.

Just because I tell you that a man or woman has several soul mates, does not mean that you should not fight for your partner when he or she falls. In the event of misunderstandings, dissensions, proven weaknesses, you must fight body and soul to put things right. In reality, in a couple that sincerely fears Me, problems are always temporary. This couple always overcomes the trials that come their way. Both partners must love each other despite the vicissitudes of life. They must remain in faith, patience and perseverance. It is in this that I become a support, a bulwark and I control their home, which will radiate my Strength and my Love.

Take care never to live on the basis of resentment in your relationship, because resentment will never help you to live according to my Laws and my Commandments. Happy couple, love each other!
