Apocalypse, end of the world: science and spirituality finally agree!

Science predicts the end of the world based on theories of world famine that will be triggered by the decline of biodiversity, unpredictable and uncontrollable epidemics, gigantic volcanic eruptions, mega-impacts of giant meteorites on the earth, widespread nuclear war, global warming, etc... The same causes produce the same effects: the Holy Wrath of God is closer to us human beings because the same conditions that preceded Noah's Ark are present on earth right now. ... The same causes produce the same effects: God's Holy Wrath is closest to us human beings because the same conditions that preceded Noah's Ark are present on earth right now. The Lord Jesus Christ had already warned that "what happened in the days of Noah will also happen at the coming of the Son of Man" (Matthew 24:36). Indeed, in the days of Noah "the Lord saw that the wickedness of men was great in the earth, and that all the thoughts of their hearts were evil every day. And the Lord repented that he had made man on the earth, and was grieved in his heart. And the LORD said, "I will cut off from the face of the earth the man whom I have created, from man to cattle, to creeping things, and to the birds of the air..." (Genesis 6:5-7).

Apocalypse, end of the world: science and spirituality finally agree!

Science and spirituality face up to Divine Truth

Science and spirituality are two complementary sisters who have long struggled to come to terms with each other. They sometimes advance at different paces and rhythms that lead us to believe that they are opposites when in fact they are not. In the 17th century, when the mathematician, physicist, astronomer and geometer Galileo Gallilei, also known as Galileo, who carried the torch of science, asserted that the earth was round, he was killed on 8 January 1642 for his scientific Truth, because the knowledge of the religious of the time was not equal to the progress of science. Today, we all agree that the earth is indeed round. In this case, science was one step ahead of spirituality.

Around 2,000 years ago, it was the other way round when John prophesied the end of the world in the book of Revelation, just as Jesus announced the signs of the end of the world in these words: "You will hear of wars and rumours of wars..., famines and earthquakes....  And there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and they shall show great signs and wonders, so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Matthew 24, 5-24).

Science remained mute and sceptical in the face of John's statements, insofar as scientific tools and methods were unable to demonstrate his assertions. Indeed, almost 2000 years ago, what scientific instruments did the experts of the time have at their disposal to predict natural disasters, famines, interminable wars, false prophets...? In this other case, spirituality was well ahead of science. In conclusion, science and spirituality are twin sisters who complement each other in teaching Divine Truth on earth.

The relationship between science and spirituality

In view of the progress made in our understanding of natural and environmental phenomena, the role of science in the 21st century is unambiguous. However, its relationship with other fields, such as spirituality, is often controversial because of differences of opinion on various issues.

True science gives man the keys to understanding the laws that govern nature, so that he can enliven, embellish, spiritualise and live in harmony with his environment. Consequently, the purpose of science is not to invent laws, because it is incapable of doing so, but to reveal and explain them to mankind. God's laws existed before the creation of the Universe, which results from them.

In the final analysis, true science and true spirituality are in agreement, only mankind is in opposition. People are always striving to set the limits of their science, whereas science has a universal scope.

Science and the discovery of the laws of nature

Science is an invention of man, at the service of man, for the good of man, to enable him to be the undisputed master of the world. Science therefore appears to be the basic tool that facilitates the exposure and understanding of the laws of nature that govern the Universe and provides the keys to its mastery, through technological achievements. Without the prowess of science, it would have been virtually impossible for mankind to know himself and fully understand his immediate and distant environment. We would have had to endure the forces of nature for so long that we would have grown weary of them.

A law of nature is an immutable law that helps to describe the existence and organisation of the whole of Creation, the Universe, from the visible to the invisible, from the infinitely large to the infinitely small, and to recall the tangible Laws that govern its operation. The law of nature is, because it escapes human ingenuity in its conception and implementation. It governs everything from beginning to end, with no possibility of modification.

Science predicts the end of the world

Science predicts the end of the world on the basis of world famine triggered by the decline in biodiversity, unpredictable and uncontrollable epidemics, gigantic volcanic eruptions, mega-impacts of giant meteorites on the earth, widespread nuclear war, global warming, etc.

With regard to the loss of biodiversity, a recent 1,800-page report drawn up by the UN's group of experts on biodiversity, known as IPBES (Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services), states that 75% of the terrestrial environment and 66% of the marine environment have been degraded by human activities. As a result, of the 8 million animal and plant species recorded on Earth, one million are threatened with extinction in the short or medium term. This loss of biodiversity will lead to the disappearance of the ecosystem services necessary for life on earth.

Another study on the ecological footprint (Global Footprint Network) shows that the amount of bioproductive land surface (or the Earth's “biocapacity”) needed to produce the goods and services we consume and absorb the waste we produce will be 2.5 times greater in 2050 (www.encyclo-ecolo.com). This means that in 28 years' time, humanity will need two and a half globes of Earth to live on. Where are we going to find this? What can we do about it?

All these scientific predictions are in line with John's prophecies in Revelation. Even if the specialists calm things down and say that the worst can be avoided if emergency measures are taken, it is up to God's children to review their behaviour, repent, seek to lead a life in Jesus Christ in order to be in line with the Ten Commandments and the Laws of God, before the worst happens, like Sodom and Gomorrah, because ‘no one knows the day or the hour, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father’. (Matthew 24:36).

History repeats itself

The same causes produce the same effects: God's Holy Wrath is closest to us human beings because the same conditions that preceded Noah's Ark are present on earth at this moment. The Lord Jesus Christ had already warned that ‘what happened in the days of Noah will also happen at the coming of the Son of Man’ (Matthew 24:36). In fact, in the days of Noah, "the Lord saw that the wickedness of men was great in the earth, and that all the thoughts of their hearts were turned to evil every day. And the Lord repented that he had made man on the earth, and was grieved in his heart. And the Lord said, I will cut off from the face of the earth man whom I have created, from man to cattle, from creeping things to birds of the air..." (Genesis 6: 5-7).

Important: Please help to make the Truth known by SHARING it with as many people as you can. GOD WILL BLESS YOU !
