The trials of faith

The trials I inflict on you are not meant to kill or destroy you. On the contrary, they are meant to strengthen you, edify you, encourage you and, ultimately, help you consolidate your trust in Me, your God. Faith and trials go hand in hand.

The trials of faith

The trials I am putting you through do not come to kill you or destroy you. On the contrary, they are intended to strengthen you, to edify you, to encourage you and, ultimately, to help you consolidate your trust in Me, your God. Faith and trials go hand in hand. Indeed, anyone who claims to have faith must expect to undergo the related trials so that their faith is transformed into an unshakeable conviction.

I repeat, faith and trials always go hand in hand, because trials allow me to check and recognise which of my children really have faith. Indeed, as long as you are on earth, you all claim to have faith. That's why my trials come to test you to find out which of my children shows unwavering faith or is simply bogged down in hypocrisy. My trials are therefore daily tests of faith.

My children, note that I am a God of Love and a Jealous God who does not accept to be shared. For these reasons, I am patient and slow in answering all your prayers. In this way, I do everything I can to check and reassure myself about the sincerity of your requests. It is not a question of saying to me: ‘Lord, I am ready to do everything you ask me to do in my mission on earth’, and then weeping and regretting having followed me. Many of my servants beat their chests, saying: ‘I want to serve God; my whole life belongs to God’, but when I slip a tiny test under their feet, they are all lost, demoralised and unrecognisable.

I tell you the truth, doing my work is not easy. That is why I prepare you in the afterlife, before you are born on earth. Your preparation continues as soon as you are born among the humans of this world, to help you to have faith through the trials I set before you. This is the obligatory passage for anyone who really wants to serve me. So you must avoid saying: ‘Lord, I have left everything, given up everything for You and You are letting me perish in the trials’. On the contrary, if you were sincere, you would simply have been inspired by the examples of Job, Hannah, Abraham, Moses, Esther, Jeremiah... These valiant servants all had faith and confidence in me, their God. Consequently, they were always ready to undergo all sorts of trials that I put in their path.

In contrast to these worthy servants, what have you become today? What kind of children are you? You have no faith.  A simple fly touches you, and you are disorientated. Know that trials are always followed by proofs of faith. So stop running around and learn to consolidate your faith. Tell yourselves that the trials I place in your path do not come to destroy you. On the contrary, they are meant to give you assurance, confidence and, above all, to make you stronger.

You my servants, remember that whoever has true faith is ready to overcome any trial I give him. This is the exercise I am asking you to do. That is why I am asking you to follow the example of Abraham, the ‘Father of faith’.

More often than not, you tell yourself that the toughest trials you go through come from the devil. I take issue with this assertion because the devil, whose real name is Lucifer, is my fallen archangel. I created him, so he cannot be above Me in action. Although he has fallen, Lucifer tells me that you are not sincere in what you say, like ‘Father, if You give me fortune, if You help me to solve this or that problem, I will remain faithful to You...’. To prove to Me that you are lying, to give Me proof of his assertions, Lucifer sometimes asks Me to let him test you.

In response to his request, I remove my protective hand just a little to let him tempt and test you. Unfortunately, you prove Lucifer right every time he tests you. If you were solid, all his works would have no effect on you. On the contrary, you would have resisted his temptations. On the contrary, you would have resisted his temptations and his vile trials would have strengthened your faith. However, if Lucifer succeeds in making you fall and proves to me that you are very weak, then I, your God, will tell you that you are not yet ready to undergo the trials of faith.

Note that every human being who claims to be at my service on earth must know that the test of faith and the related trials will always be at his door. Consequently, they must do everything in their power to prove to me that they are ready to undergo them and to overcome them valiantly.
